Terry R. Pearman, 72, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Olive Branch, Illinois, passed away at 2:10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019, at Hunter Acres Care Center in Sikeston, Missouri, with his daughters by his side.
Terry was born April 17, 1947, in Cairo, Illinois, to Robert and Freida Sissom Pearman.
He worked construction most of his life and also loved to fish and hunt.
Terry is survived by his daughters, Carolyn (Miles) Adkins of Ullin, Illinois, and Connie (Terry) Dowdy of Tamms, Illinois; grandchildren, Andrea Nix, Michael Nix, Justin Dowdy, Tara Jones, Riley Pearman, Jake Pearman and Leah Pearman; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Tommy Pearman and Jackie Pearman, both of Cape Girardeau; and sister, Sheila Pearman of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bugger Pearman; brothers, John and Rodney Pearman; and sister, Rhonda Pearman.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating. Interment will follow at McCrite Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Crain Funeral Home to help defray funeral costs. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
