Terry Lee King, 72, of Jackson passed away Friday, July 29, 2022, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 29, 1949, in St. Louis, the daughter of William T. and Marie L. Reagan Minner. Terry married Robert Charles "Bob" King on May 11, 1967, and he preceded her in death March 15, 2022, after 54 years of marriage.
Terry worked in the medical field for a number of years and also as a customer service representative before becoming disabled. She loved going to church. She and Bob attended Covenant Life Church in Fruitland. Terry absolutely adored her family and never missed an opportunity to see them. She and Bob loved music and would spend time in Nashville each year.
Loving survivors include two daughters, Kelly King and her life partner Lee Barnhill of St. Louis, and Toni Newsom and her fiance Terry Span of Jackson; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a brother Robin (Robin) Minner of Charleston, Missouri.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; eight siblings, William Minner Jr., Toni Jo Stanton, Richard Minner, Harlan "Ike" Minner, Martha Robertson, Pat Minner, Jackie Woods, and her twin sister Mary Crigger.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Schario officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
