TERRY KING

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Terry R. King, 33, formerly of Sikeston and Morehouse, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 1995, at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, Fla.

He was born Feb. 19, 1962, at Sikeston, son of Joe R. And Vernice Carmack King.

King was employed as a shipping and receiving supervisor for Sheet Metal Manufacturing and was a member of the Cline's Island General Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a 1980 graduate of Sikeston Senior High School.

Survivors include his parents of Sikeston; a sister, Donna Jo King of Sikeston; paternal grandmother, Lillian Mae King-Robinson of Sikeston; and maternal grandparents, Allen "Buck" and LaVerne Carmack of Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Home, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Jerry Pennington will officiate, with burial in the Matthews Cemetery.
