COMMERCE, Mo. -- Terry Edward DeHart, 56, of Commerce died Friday, June 29, 2012, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 23, 1955, in Paragould, Ark., son of James Edward and Peggy Ann Hart DeHart. He married Patricia Ann Johnson on Oct. 5, 1974, at Commerce.
Terry was a farmer and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife and his parents of Diehlstadt, Mo.; a son, Christopher (Beth) DeHart of Benton, Mo.; a daughter, Sarah (Steve) Moore of Kelso, Mo.; two brothers, David DeHart of Sikeston, Mo., Eric DeHart of Commerce; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Leighann DeHart.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the chapel. Johnny Hester will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Dennis Lowe. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery.
