Terry L. Dambach, 54, passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, at his home in Jackson, surrounded by his family.
Terry was born Feb. 11, 1968, to Leonard and Dolly Massa Dambach in Cape Girardeau. He and Kelly Castulik were married April 12, 2008, at Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson.
Terry was a 1986 graduate of Jackson High School.
He served in the U.S. Army National Guard for more than 37 years. From 2004 to 2005, he served on active duty in Iraq and again from 2013 to 2014 in Afghanistan. He was honorably discharged Oct. 26, 2022. He was a member of VFW Post No. 3838 in Cape Girardeau.
He was a member of Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson, music, singing and working on cars. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.
Loving survivors include his wife of 14 years, Kelly Dambach of Jackson; six children, Alicia (Jeff) Koenig of Luling, Texas, Justin Dambach (Carrie Walker) of Cape Girardeau, Logan (Katie) Jordan of Marble Hill, Missouri, Hailey (David) Hess of Advance, Missouri, Whitney Jordan (Jared Landewee) of Jackson and Lance Dambach of Jackson; grandson, Camden Brady; brother, Mark (Lisa) Dambach of Jackson; and two sisters, Cheryl Stadt of Aurora, Colorado, and Mary (Al) Giddons of Florida.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bryan Dambach.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, and from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The Rev. Sam Roethemeyer will conduct the funeral at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at the funeral home. Interment, with graveside military honors, will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
