BERTRAND -- Teressa L. Haws, 41, of Bertrand, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 1994, at her home.

She was born Oct. 3, 1952, in Blodgett, daughter of George J. and Armintha Tyler Haws.

Haws was a secretary with Meridith and Neal Insurance Co. in Sikeston, and was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Charleston.

Survivors include her mother of Bertrand; two brothers, Charles Haws of Landrum, S.C., George Haws of Charleston; five sisters, Dolly Brown and Judy Whitson of Jonesboro, Ark., Betty Waro of Marble Hill, Frances Embry of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mary Martin of Bertrand.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at McMikle Funeral Chapel in Charleston. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery there.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4:30 p.m. today.
