Tempa D. Greene, 54, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at her residence in Cape Girardeau, after a lengthy illness.
She was born Sept. 14, 1952, in Illmo, Mo., daughter of Robert and Joyce (Skinner) Hamil. She and Dan Greene were married Aug. 20, 1987, in Cape Girardeau.
Greene graduated from Scott City High School and Southeast Missouri State University. She had been an elementary school teacher. Greene was a member of Cape Bible Chapel.
Survivors include her husband, Dan, of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Lindsey Greene of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Ryan Steck and wife Christy of Cape Girardeau, Shane Steck of Jefferson City, Mo.; her father, Robert Hamil of Scott City; a stepmother, Wendy Hamil of Scott City; a sister, Brenda Marten and husband Don of Jackson; a stepsister, Tina Ashby and husband Brad of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Steve Hamil and wife Debra of Manhattan, Kan.; and two grandchildren, Ryanna and Brydan Steck.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Cape Bible Chapel.
Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Cape Bible Chapel, with Patrick Tankersley officiating.
