Teddy Norman Jones Sr., 74, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, at his home.

He was born Feb. 20, 1942, in Cape Girardeau to Norman and Hazel (Adams) Jones.

He and Kathy Hamilton were married Friday, Aug. 15, 1969.

Teddy served in the U.S. Army and owned Key West Painting Company for many years.

He was a hard worker and always stayed busy. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Jones of Cape Girardeau; sons, Kenny Pincksten and Teddy (Loretta) Jones Jr., both of Cape Girardeau, and Jeff (Loriann) Jones of Evansville, Indiana; daughter, Penny (Dave) Hale of Cape Girardeau; brothers, Rocky Jones and Michael (Sharon) Bragg of Cape Girardeau; sisters, Jan (Rocky) Bierschwal and June May Trovillion of Cape Girardeau and Wilma Howard of San Antonio; grandchildren, Shawn Pincksten, Liz Dannenmueller, Kaelin Casasola, Cecil Hale, Devon, Chance and Ethan Holley, Teddy Jones III, Chelsea Hawn and Jarrod (Traci) Jones; and great-grandchildren, Ella Pincksten, J.D. and Rhett Dannenmueller, Karter Casasola, Olivia Hawn and Clara Jones.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Judy Farrow.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home, with Rocky Bierschwal officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
