Granville Ted Yarbrough, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, July 1, 2004, at Missouri Veterans Home.
He was born March 11, 1918, in Perry County, Mo., son of James T. and Florence Hubbard Yarbrough. He and Edna Olene Hartlein were married in 1949.
Yarbrough was a retired brick mason.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include four sons, Ronald Hartlein of Jackson, Jimmy Yarbrough of Franklin, Tenn., Charles Yarbrough of Rapid City, S.D., David Yarbrough of Matthews, Mo.; two daughters, Betty Rodgers of Kingman, Ariz., Florence Ditto of East Prairie, Mo.; three sisters, Marie Holmes and Lottie Mon of Oran, Mo., Rose Collins of Kansas City, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, a son and a brother.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, Mo., from 11 a.m. Monday until time of service.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery at East Prairie.
