TED MEYER

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Frederick E. "Ted" Meyer, 91, of Jonesboro died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at Jonesboro Health Care Center.

He was born Nov. 4, 1909, in Jonesboro, son of Fred and Nora Shy Meyer. He and Helen Stacy were married April 20, 1933, in Elizabethtown, Ill. She died Jan. 28, 2000.

Meyer was a retired movie projectionist at the former Anna State Hospital. He was a member of the First Methodist Church in Jonesboro.

Survivors include a son, Gary Meyer of Jonesboro; a sister, Ruth Hankla of Jonesboro; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son and a sister.

Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, Ill.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Revs. John Prather and Marion Mosley will officiate, with burial in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
