T.E. THOMPSON

SIKESTON -- Funeral service for T.E. "Tommy" Thompson of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Crews-Welsh and Ponder Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Tom Geers will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Thompson, 77, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 1992, at his home.

He was born July 24, 1915, in Walnut Grove, Tenn., son of William Thomas and Emma Hall Thompson. He and Emma Hart were married March 3, 1943, in Little Rock, Ark.

Thompson had been an accountant with Himmelberger-Harrison Manufacturing Co. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, and Morley Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Tom Thompson Jr. of Memphis, Tenn., Mike Thompson of Sikeston; two daughters, Linda Metts of Germantown, Tenn., Deborah Thompson of Sikeston; a brother, Aubrey Thompson of Rogersville, Tenn., and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister.
