Tanya Wilson

Tanya Kay Wilson, 53, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023, at her home.

She was born Jan. 26, 1970, to Kirk McElrath and Kay Vester in Kirkwood, Missouri.

Tanya is survived by her loving spouse, Danny Wilson; father, Kirk McElrath; mother, Kay (Gary) Vester; two stepsisters, Angella Zoellner and Amy (Tyke) Thomison; stepbrother, Robert (Gina) and their children, Braden and Rylee Vester; mother-in-law, Mildred Wilson; two aunts, Glenda Riggins and Beverly (Ben) and their children, Michael and Derek Roach

She was preceded in death by father-in-law, Farrel Wilson; grandparents, Ernest and Ann McElrath; stepmother, Nola McElrath; and grandparents, Glen and Geneva Sisco.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Aug. 3, at Bethel Assembly of God in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will immediately follow the visitation at the church. Burial will take place following the funeral at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.
