Tamra Sue Macke, 68, passed away Monday, May 21, 2018, at Lutheran Home.
Tamra was born July 8, 1949, at Saint Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was the daughter of Fred Langston and Gloria Payne.
She worked at Holiday Inn, Magna-Tel and Jackson Veterinary Clinic. She was of the Catholic faith and loved her grandchildren, gardening, animals and reading.
Survivors include three daughters and a son, Lisa (Dimitrius) Brooks of Springfield, Missouri, Trisha (Travis) Sikes of Jackson. Angela Boettcher of Jackson and Billy (Marsha) Macke of Jackson; and two sisters, Janet (Mark) Venable of Jackson and Debbie Tapley of Cape Girardeau. She has nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Tamra was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bradley Langston.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rick Jones officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
