CHESTERFIELD, Mo. -- T. Paul Gleeson Jr., of Chesterfield, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2006.
He was married to Mary Franciscus Gleeson, who preceded him in death.
Gleeson was a Navy fighter pilot in World War II. He was employed at McDonnell Aircraft as an engineer and project manager. He later served with Emerson Electric as an engineer and project manager. He formed an electronics business in 1971, where he obtained the first of several patents. Gleeson was a graduate of Washington University.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen Forster; three sons, Thomas P. Gleeson III, John F. Gleeson, Andrew L. Gleeson and Barry C. Gleeson; a brother, Dixon Gleeson; a sister, Nina Gunther; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Annunziata, 925 Cella Road in Ladue, Mo. The interment will be private.
