Sylvia Bailey

EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Graveside service for Sylvia Iretta Bailey of East Prairie will be held at 10 a.m. today at Dogwood Cemetery. R.L. Robinson will officiate.

Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.

Bailey, 79, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2001, at Baptist Hospital in Blytheville, Ark.

She was born July 9, 1922, in Charleston, Mo., daughter of Morris S. and Alpha O. Smoot Bailey.

Bailey lived in East Prairie most of her life, and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a brother, James Bailey of Eastpointe, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
