SUSIE SMITH

ANNA, Ill. -- Susie Webb Smith, 87, of Anna died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999, at the Union County Nursing Home at Anna.

She was born Feb. 21, 1912, in Union County, daughter of Andrew and Nancy Brimm Boyer. She was first married to Roy Webb. She and Louie L. Smith were married June 10, 1952, at Piggott, Ark. He died March 31, 1981.

She was a member of the Landmark Pentecostal Church at Anna and was retired from the former Anna State Hospital.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Ralls and Ruth Steward, both of Anna; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; four stepdaughters, Jeanette Fuller and Lois Brasel, both of Anna, Monica Pind of Jonesboro and Nancy Evans of Marion; and three stepsons, Ralph Smith and Louie Dean Smith, both of Elmwood, and Robert Smith of Jonesboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a stepdaughter, a brother and three sisters.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home at Anna.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Charles Mitchell will officiate, with burial to follow at the Anna Cemetery.
