DONGOLA, Ill. -- Susie Dillow, 88, of Dongola, died Tuesday, April 23, 1996, at Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born Jan. 28, 1908, in Ullin, daughter of Jess Walter and Dossie Edna Goodman Gulley. She and Tella Marion Dillow were married Aug. 1, 1925. He died May 1, 1961...

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Susie Dillow, 88, of Dongola, died Tuesday, April 23, 1996, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born Jan. 28, 1908, in Ullin, daughter of Jess Walter and Dossie Edna Goodman Gulley. She and Tella Marion Dillow were married Aug. 1, 1925. He died May 1, 1961.

Survivors include a sister, Earlene Lynn of Metropolis; two brothers, Glenn Gulley of Dongola, W.L. Gulley of Palm Springs, Calif.; three foster children, Betty Acuff, Linda Rudolph and Paul Dillow of Dongola; a grandson and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, two sisters, a brother and foster daughter.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Everett Frizzell officiating. Burial will be in American Legion Cemetery.
