Susan J. Storey-Cobb, 55, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., died Thursday, July 30, 1998 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born on October 7, 1942, in Joliet, Ill., the daughter of Heber Von Lauer and Mildred Smith Lauer, she was married to Harold G. Cobb in March 1989, in Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Storey-Cobb was a homemaker and a member of St.
Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She attended Murray State University in Murray, Ky., Northwestern Indiana University and Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters,Kelly Susan Storey-Cowan and son-in-law, Joseph F. Cowan of St. Louis, Julie Lynn Storey of St. Louis and her fiance, Richard Miskell Jr. of St. Louis; a stepdaughter, Angelia Randol of Jackson, Mo.; a stepgrandson, Dustin Randol of Jackson; cousins Chuck Lauer of Winnetka, Ill., William Lauer of Joliet, Ill., Nancy Lauer-Frerer of Carthage, Mo.; and Clinton Lauer of Detroit, Mich.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Parish prayers will be offered at 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Chapel. A funeral mass will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 1998 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Internment will be in Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, Ind.
