PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Susan M. Dickmann, 55, of Perryville died Monday, June 23, 2014, at her home. She was born Feb. 4, 1959, in Perryville, daughter of Rayford and Velma A. Dobbelare Dickmann. Susan worked 32 years at Perry County Sheltered Workshop in Perryville. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and former "Special Disciples"...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Susan M. Dickmann, 55, of Perryville died Monday, June 23, 2014, at her home.

She was born Feb. 4, 1959, in Perryville, daughter of Rayford and Velma A. Dobbelare Dickmann.

Susan worked 32 years at Perry County Sheltered Workshop in Perryville. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and former "Special Disciples".

Survivors include her mother, Velma Drury of Perryville; three siblings, Randy Dickmann of Perryville, Bonnie Behrle and friend Mike Strayer, and Robert "Bob" (Lorie) Dickmann of Perryville; a stepsister, Sheila (Mike) Miller of Perryville; a nephew, Raymond Scott; a niece, LaTeaschia (Josh) Lewis; two stepnephews, Jason Miller and Jeffery (Cheryl) Miller; a stepniece, Jennifer (Matt) Wilke; a great-stepnephew; and a great-stepniece.

She was preceded in death by her father and stepfather.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. Parish wake will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, and the rosary at 8:30 a.m. Friday.

Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Rickey Valleroy officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to St. Vincent schools or church.
