ADVANCE, Mo. -- Maryln Sue Ford, 56, of Advance died Monday, June 21, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born July 16, 1947, in Wayne County, Mo., daughter of Earnest and Etta Marie Hovis Abernathy. She and Troy Ford were married June 28, 1969, at Hiram, Mo...

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Maryln Sue Ford, 56, of Advance died Monday, June 21, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 16, 1947, in Wayne County, Mo., daughter of Earnest and Etta Marie Hovis Abernathy. She and Troy Ford were married June 28, 1969, at Hiram, Mo.

Ford was a cook with Advance School District. She was a member of Bethel General Baptist Church near Advance.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Delain Ford of Redding, Calif., Dwyght Ford of Advance; a brother, Donald Abernathy of Hillsboro, Mo.; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Ray Placher and Bill Sargent officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
