Steven Loomes

EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Steven Page Loomes, 37, of East Prairie died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.

He was born April 25, 1967, in Sikeston, son of Robert and Ruth Pate Loomes. He married Trina Brooks.

Loomes was a farmer and attended New Beginnings Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Derrick Loomes of Sikeston; a daughter, Alexis Loomes of the home; three sisters, Lucy Ellis of Braidwood, Ill., Irene Marti of Highland, Ill., and Patsy Beardsley of Harrisburg, Ill.

Also surviving are nine brothers, Robert Loomis of Highland, Bill Gothard of Norris City, Ill., Alfred Loomis of DeSoto, Mo., Dickie Loomis of Sikeston, James Gothard of Braidwood, Calvin, Charlie and Van Loomes of East Prairie, and Cliff Pate of Allentown, Pa.

He was preceded in death by a son, his parents and a stepfather.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Joey Manning officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
