Steve Wille, 40, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004, at his home.
He was born April 24, 1963, in Cape Girardeau, son of Clement "Clem" and Verla Sides Wille. He and Kris Mangels were married May 16, 1987.
Steve was a 1981 graduate of Jackson High School. He had worked at the former Lenco Co., Procter & Gamble, and most recently at ATP Radio Shack in Jackson. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.
Loving survivors include his wife, Kris; children, Ian and Melana of the family home; his parents, Clem and Verla of Jackson; and a brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Alice Wille of University City, Mo.
Surviving brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law are Lowell and Diane Mangels of Friedheim, Marci and Ken Preusser of Altenburg, Mo., Karen Lyon of St. Louis, Patty and Paul Callier of Perryville, Mo.; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Jess and Lulu Wille; maternal grandparents, Wilson and Hulda Sides; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Elda Mangels; and a brother-in-law, Charles Mangels.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Church in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Robert Henrichs officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
