SIKESTON, Mo. -- Steve H. Sindle, 48, of Sikeston died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 26, 1952, in Sikeston, son of Roy Eugene "Gene" and Ollie Jones Sindle. He and Vanetta F. Darter were married Jan. 19, 1974, in Oran, Mo.
Sindle had worked at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. in Sikeston, and Anderson-Clark Distributing Co. in Cape Girardeau. He was a salesman the past eight years with Holloway Distributing Co. in Puxico, Mo.
He was a member of Hooe Missionary Baptist Church at Oran, Mo., and was Sunday School superintendent.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Blake and Justin Sindle of Sikeston; his mother of Dexter, Mo.; four brothers, Charles Sindle of Bloomfield, Mo., Jerry and Ronnie Sindle of Sikeston, James Sindle of Oran; and a sister, Rena Matthews of Hillsboro, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Delbert Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
