STEVE ROBESON

SIKESTON, Mo. -- John Steven "Steve" Robeson, 40, of Sikeston died Sunday, June 10, 2001, in Hickman, Ky.

He was born Aug. 6, 1940, in Memphis, Tenn., son of John Irvine and Betty Jean Wilkerson Robeson. He and Nina Dobbs were married April 4, 1981.

Robeson was employed with Russell Tank Tech of Blodgett, Mo., and worked 13 years at Lewis Bakery Co. in Sikeston.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Dillion Robeson of the home; a daughter, Alyssa Robeson of the home; his parents of Sikeston; a brother, James Robeson of Sikeston; and a sister, Cindy Cooper of Benton, Mo.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo., from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
