STEVE PETTIT

Steve Ireland Pettit, 42, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2001, at the Calvin Johnson Care Center in Belleville, Ill.

He was born Aug. 20, 1958, at Cape Girardeau, son of Joseph I. and Mary Ann Plumb Pettit. He and Robin Crigger were married.

Pettit owned and operated an auto repair service in Cape Girardeau for 20 years.

Survivors include his wife; his mother; two sisters, Pam Jenkins of Millersville, Mo., and Sandy Pettit of East Cape Girardeau, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A private visitation for family and friends will be at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. Sunday.

A private graveside funeral service for family and friends will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
