GRASSY -- Stephen W. Weakley, 40, of Grassy, died Thursday, July 4, 1996, at his home, following an illness.
He was born Dec. 7, 1955, at Wyatt, son of Chester and Dorothy Baker Weakley. He and Joyce Bumgardaner Baker were married Dec. 18, 1995.
Weakley was a mechanic at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. of Ocean Springs, Miss., prior to his illness.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Wendy Weakley of Pascagoula, Miss.; a stepdaughter, Jessica Dunning of Grassy; his parents of Glen Allen; three brothers, Glenn and Gordon Weakley of Marble Hill, Thomas Weakley of Jackson; four sisters, Laverne Northern of St. Louis, Pauline Rhodes of Marble Hill, Wanda Duncan of Oak Ridge, and Teresa Burnham of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will be in McGee Chapel Cemetery near Glen Allen.
