Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau from 4-8 p.m. today.

Raible, 79, died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born May 17, 1920, in Morrison Bluff, Ark., son of John and Cresence Gausbauer Raible. He and Charity Richmond were married Nov. 12, 1962, at Jennings. She died May 23, 1992.

Raible had been an auto mechanic, worked at Bell Telephone, and Sinclair Oil Co. in St. Louis.

He moved to the McClure area in 1975 from St. Louis. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and the Amreican Legion Post in Jennings.

He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a stepson, Gerald Musgraves of Port Charlotte, Fla.; a brother, Andrew Raible of Little Rock, Ark.; three sisters, Marie Raible, Agnes Baresch and Lousie Seiter, all of Little Rock.
