Stephen Boyd Holladay, 70, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, at his home.
He was born Nov. 10, 1946, in Springfield, Missouri, to William Boyd and Jewell Barrett Holladay. He and Margaret A. Robertson were married Nov. 1, 2013, at Chaffee, Missouri.
Stephen proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
He owned and operated his own body shop in Springfield for many years.
He lived in Colorado for a number of years. While living there, he owned and operated a restaurant, and also drove a tour bus. Stephen also competed in many fishing tournaments. During his working years, he also worked at a prison in Kentucky. Later, he drove a school bus in the Cape Girardeau, Scott City and Chaffee school districts.
He was a member of Pinnacle of Faith Life Changing Ministry in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret A. Holladay of Cape Girardeau; sons, Stephen Holladay Jr. and Christian Holladay of Lexington, Kentucky; daughter, Stephanie (Shelton) Holladay of Loves Park, Illinois; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Eric Ware and Howard McGee officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Greenlawn Cemetery in Springfield.
Memorial contributions may be given to Ford and Sons Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
