Stephen Ray Hester, 49, of Cordova, Tenn., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, July 18, 2008, at Crittenden County Hospital in Marion, Ky.
He was a pipefitter with River City Sprinklers. He was a member of the Patriot Guard and was an avid motorcycle rider and hunter.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Robin S. Hester; two daughters, Amanda Weible and Christina Willey, both of St. Louis; two sisters, Angela Higbee of Lakeland, Fla., Vickie Holloway of Searcy, Ark.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel in Memphis, Tenn.
A service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Memphis.
