TAMMS, Ill. -- Stephen H. Honey, 37, of Tamms died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, at Carbondale Memorial Hospital after an automobile accident. He was born Dec. 15, 1960, at Cape Girardeau, son of Lorn R. "Pod" and Mary Quinn Honey. He was a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Thebes. TAMMS, Ill. -- Stephen H. Honey, 37, of Tamms died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, at Carbondale Memorial Hospital after an automobile accident.

He was born Dec. 15, 1960, at Cape Girardeau, son of Lorn R. "Pod" and Mary Quinn Honey.

He was a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Thebes. He graduated from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and was a clinical lab technician at the Illinois Department of Public Health in Carbondale.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanetta Honey of Tamms; a son, Ryan Honey of Tamms; his parents of Tamms; two brothers, Lorn R. Honey of West Paducah, Ky., and Donald Honey of Thebes.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Monday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Monahan officiating. Burial will be at the McCrite Cemetery near Tamms.
