Stephen Campbell

Stephen D. Campbell, 58, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at his home.

He was born Jan. 15, 1952, in Shreveport, La., son of Jack and Anne McGill Campbell. He and Jane Hilton were married Feb. 15, 1980.

Stephen was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson. He owned and operated Campbell Realty in Cape Girardeau.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Loving survivors include his wife of 30 years; his mother, Anne Fleming of Las Cruces, N.M.; two brothers, Ron Campbell of Little Rock, Ark., Scott Campbell of Long Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Pat Campbell of Amarillo, Texas, and Beth (David) Harrelson of Las Cruces.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Donna Broadhurst.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. to service time Saturday at New McKendree United Methodist Church.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Revs. John Rice and Jimmie Corbin officiating.
