SCOTT CITY -- Stella Lee Mirgaux, 89, of Cahokia, Ill., died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1993, at Touchette Regional Hospital in Centerville.
She was born Dec. 4, 1903, in Olive Branch, daughter of Thomas Alvin and Ora Randleman Petitt. She and John F. Mirgaux were married in April 1930.
Mirgaux was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Cahokia.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Harvey Mirgaux of Cahokia, John Mirgaux of St. Louis; a daughter, Helen Ledbetter of Cedar Hill; a sister, Lucille McCulley of Scott City; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. William Dickey will officiate, with burial in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
