VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Stella Vera Hogendobler, 86, of Villa Ridge died Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. She was born Oct. 6, 1912, in Pulaski, daughter of Fred L. and Lizzie Corzine Davis. She married Lewis A. Hogendobler, who died May 20, 1978...

VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Stella Vera Hogendobler, 86, of Villa Ridge died Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

She was born Oct. 6, 1912, in Pulaski, daughter of Fred L. and Lizzie Corzine Davis. She married Lewis A. Hogendobler, who died May 20, 1978.

Hogendobler was a member of Villa Ridge Union Church, and former member and past president of its Ladies Aid Society. She was also a former member of Villa Ridge Homemakers Club.

Survivors include two nieces, Ann Nottage of Villa Ridge, Nancy Curtis of Price, Texas; two nephews, Mike Hogendobler of Villa Ridge, and Jerry Davis of Irving, Texas.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ralph Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens.
