Stella Cornehlsen

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Stella W. Cornehlsen, 88, of Perryville died Friday, April 23, 2004, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 19, 1916, at Friedheim, Mo., daughter of William and Ernestine Vogt Elbrecht. She and Raymond H. Cornehlsen were married July 5, 1950. He died Feb. 7, 1968.

Cornehlsen had worked in a restaurant. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Friedheim.

Survivors include a son, Gilbert Cornehlsen of Perryville; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

The funeral was held Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. David Burge officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Young and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
