Stacy Wayne Volkerding, 53, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Jan. 21, 2019, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 29, 1965, in Cape Girardeau to Larry and Marilyn McCart Volkerding. He and Millie Marie Rozkiewicz were married Aug 13, 1989, at St. Louis.
He was a sales representative for McKesson Medical Supply and Equipment for more than 25 years covering Southeast Missouri, St. Louis, Southern Illinois and Arkansas.
He was a member of Lynwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Millie Marie Volkerding of Cape Girardeau; mother, Marilyn (Jim) Poston of Cape Girardeau; daughter, Heather M. Volkerding of Cape Girardeau; son, Glenn T. (Carmelita) Volkerding of St. Louis; sister, Juli (Alan) Cook of Chaffee, Missouri; stepbrother, Sean (Cindy) Poston of Dardeene Prairie, Missouri; stepsister, Tracy (Terry) Shows of Roseville, California; and Papa to one grandchild, Nicholas Volkerding.
With his passing we lost a very special part of our lives.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorial contributions may be given to Multiple Sclerosis Society.
