JACKSON -- Funeral service for Stacy Lee Jones of Jackson will be held at 11 a.m. today in the gymnasium at Meadow Heights High School in Patton. The Rev. William Brooks will officiate, with burial in Sedgewickville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the gymnasium from 9 a.m. to service time.
Liley Funeral Home at Patton is in charge of arrangements.
Jones, 17, died Thursday, April 28, 1994, in a car accident near Millersville.
She was born April 4, 1977, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Eddie and Kathy Slinkard Jones.
Jones was a junior at Meadow Heights School, and a member of the high school band, S.T.A.T.S. for basketball and volleyball, and was on the yearbook staff. She was a member of Little Whitewater Baptist Church at Patton, and had worked two years at Dairy Queen in Jackson.
Survivors include her father of Sedgewickville, her mother of Jackson; a brother, Dustin Jones of Jackson; paternal grandparents, Bob and LeAnna Jones; maternal grandmother, Velma Slinkard, all of Sedgewickville, and paternal great-grandmother, Hilda Patton of St. Charles.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather.
