Sophia Ellen Woolfolk, 93, entered into rest Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Monticello House in Jackson. She was born Feb. 5, 1918, in Centralia, Mo., daughter of Oliver and Zona Sewell Marshall. She and David Albert Woolfolk were married Dec. 31, 1937, in Mexico, Mo. He preceded her in death May 19, 1998...

Sophia Ellen Woolfolk, 93, entered into rest Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Monticello House in Jackson.

She was born Feb. 5, 1918, in Centralia, Mo., daughter of Oliver and Zona Sewell Marshall. She and David Albert Woolfolk were married Dec. 31, 1937, in Mexico, Mo. He preceded her in death May 19, 1998.

Woolfolk was a lifelong resident of Centralia and member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Anna Lorraine (Frank) Fraze of Bullhead, Ariz., Nancy Jean (Charles) Todd of Jackson; two sons, Gary Lee (Betty) Woolfolk and Phillip Scott (Lael) Woolfolk of Centralia; a brother, Donald Marshall of Mexico; a sister-in-law, Emma Marshall; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Milton Woolfolk; a grandson, Charles David Todd; five brothers, James Peter, Claude, Clyde, Harold and Tom Marshall; and a sister, Ann Marshall.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Fenton Funeral Chapel in Centralia.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel . The Rev. David Hartgrove, pastor of Crossroads Cathedral, will officiate. Interment will be in Centralia Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kevin and Shane Hoxworth, Mark and Jeff Todd, Donald and Ronald Rodgers. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy and Aaron Hoff, Casey Calhoon and Charlie Morrill.

The family suggests memorials to Centralia Senior Citizens Center, 211 W. Bruton St., Centralia, MO 65240.
