SOPHIA ELFRINK

LEOPOLD -- Sophia Elizabeth Elfrink, 95, of Leopold died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000, at Elder Care of Marble Hill.

She was born March 18, 1904, at Leopold, daughter of John Herman and Mary Grada Hulshof Elfrink.

Elfrink was a former vice president of Bollinger County Bank in Lutesville. She attended Ursaline Academy in Arcadia.

She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, its Ladies Sodality, Legion of Mary Auxiliary, and had been a choir member.

Survivors include a brother, Sylvester Elfrink of Advance, and a sister, Dorothy Robinette of Bloomfield.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at St. John's Church from 3-9 p.m. Sunday. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church. The Revs. Bill Huggins and Robert Landewe will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Hutchings Funeral Chapel at Marble Hill is in charge of arrangements.
