Sonny Eason

William "Sonny" Eason, 68, of Cape Girardeau passed away at 7:44 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2022.

He was born June 3, 1954, to Raymond M. and Marcelline Masters Eason in Cape Girardeau. Sonny married Glenda Glueck on July 30, 1988, and she survives.

Sonny worked for Roland Machinery in Cape Girardeau. He was also an outdoorsman.

Besides his wife, Glenda, he is survived by his daughter, Jessica Eason of Cape Girardeau; son, Justin Eason of Advance, Missouri; three grandchildren, Clayton Broxton of Cape Girardeau and Gracelyn Eason and Gunnar Eason, both of Advance; and several other relatives and friends.

Sonny was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, at the funeral home, with Father Daniel Belken officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Crain Funeral Home to assist the family with arrangements, and envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
