SIKESTON -- Funeral for Charles "Sonny" Bryant of Sikeston will be held at 1 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home. The Rev. Dolan Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Bryant, 59, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 1999, at Baxter County Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Ark.

He was born Jan. 1, 1940, at Morehouse, son of Charles and Rozella Hubbard Bryant Sr. He and Karen Seabaugh were married July 25, 1998.

Bryant was owner and operator of Bryant TV Service, and a bus driver for Sikeston Public Schools. He served in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife; a stepson, John Seabaugh Jr. of Sikeston; and a sister, Charloette Averitt of Aurora, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
