Sondra K. Deimund, 61, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born Dec. 16, 1942, at Cape Girar-deau, daughter of the late Clarence and Eleanor Pittman Loos. Deimund was a nurses aid at the Lutheran Home for 13 years. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, the Ladies Guild at the church, the Missouri Extension Homemaker Association and the Bridge Club. She was also a volunteer for the American Cancer Society...

Sondra K. Deimund, 61, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 16, 1942, at Cape Girar-deau, daughter of the late Clarence and Eleanor Pittman Loos.

Deimund was a nurses aid at the Lutheran Home for 13 years. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, the Ladies Guild at the church, the Missouri Extension Homemaker Association and the Bridge Club. She was also a volunteer for the American Cancer Society.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Deimund of Cape Girardeau and Robert and wife Dena Deimund of Scott City; three daughters, Sondra Deimund of Memphis, Tenn., Sherry Deimund of Cape Girardeau and Susan Scott and husband William Joseph Scott of Chaffee, Mo.; a sister, Diane McCray of Springfield, Ill.; five grandchildren, Halie Deimund, Austin Weissinger, and Jessica and Matthew Shirrell of Cape Girardeau and Robbie Deimund of Scott City; and one nephew, Shawn McCray of Springfield, Ill.

Friends may call today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Revs. William Matzat and Barry Pfanstiel will officiate, with burial in Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Home.
