SISTER VINCENT HAUPTMANN

Funeral Mass for Sister Vincent Clare Hauptmann was held May 29 at Loretto Center in Webster Groves.

Hauptmann, 95, died Tuesday, May 28, 1996.

A native of Cape Girardeau, she received a bachelor's degree in elementary education and master's degree in religious studies at Webster University.

She taught 19 years at Sacred Heart, St. Cronan, St. Paul the Apostle, Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St. Ann Schools. She retired to the Loretto Center in 1981, and was a receptionist until 1990. She had been a Sister of Loretto 73 years.

She is survived by a sister, Bernice Stock of Cape Girardeau.
