Shirley Dee Mobley, daughter of the late Robert Lee and Mae Bell Lynch Moore, was born Dec. 8, 1935, in Randles, Missouri, and departed this life Monday, Oct. 26, 2020, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau at the age of 84 years old.
On Oct.22, 1951, she married David Franklin Mobley in Toga (Advance), Missouri. He preceded her in death Nov. 25, 2011.
She was a great mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and she loved her church family.
Shirley is survived by two daughters, LaRhonda "Punky" (Bill) Masters of Cape Girardeau and CoAnn (Johnny) Below of Whitewater; two sons, Terry (Barb) Mobley of Jefferson City and Lonnie Mobley of Cape Girardeau; sister. Barbara Little of Randles; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Pearline Dooley, Nadine Henderson and Betty Robinson, and a great-grandson.
Due to the current COVID pandemic, there will be a private family service Friday with the Rev. Leeman Shirrell officiating. At 11 a.m., the service will be livestreamed on the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel's Facebook page.
Burial will be at the Williams Cemetery in Perkins, Missouri.
In-lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Randles General Baptist Church at P.O. Box 119, Delta, MO 63744.
