Shirley Metcalf

Shirley Metcalf, 67, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003, at Monticello House in Jackson.

She was born Aug. 29, 1936, daughter of William Buford and Lucille Gettings McKenzie. She and Bobby Metcalf were married Dec. 26, 1957.

She was a member of the Church of God in Chaffee and was the piano player there for many years.

Survivors include her husband of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Kim Arnzen of St. Louis; a brother, the Rev. Dale McKenzie of Chaffee; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of God, with the Rev. Dale McKenzie officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Garden near Morley.
