SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Shirley Ann Mayberry, age 77, of Sedgewickville passed away Monday, May 16, 2016, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 17, 1938, at Perryville, Missouri, daughter of Lester B. and Nellie J. Ruessler Wilfong. She and Dorman Mayberry were united in marriage on July 28, 1956.
Shirley had retired as a line worker for Gilster-Mary Lee Company in Perryville and was a member of the Patton United Methodist Church in Patton, Missouri.
Survivors include her husband, Dorman Mayberry of Sedgewickville; a son, Bradley (Ena) Mayberry of Sedgewickville; a daughter Beverly (Denny) Whitener of Fredericktown, Missouri; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
Preceding her in death was a brother, Lester Wilfong; two sisters, Marie Hartle Conrad and Mae Blaylock, and two infant great-grandsons.
A funeral service was held Friday at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton, with the Rev. Joe Wilfong officiating. Burial followed in the Patton Cemetery.
