SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Shirley Marie Garrett of Scott City will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Roger Leveillee will officiate, with burial in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
Garrett, 74, died Tuesday, July 28, 1992, at Charleston Manor.
She was born Feb. 10, 1918, in Mound City, Ill., daughter of Hosea and Elsie Edwards Dunlop. She and William Charles Garrett were married Dec. 25, 1934. He died April 2, 1985.
Garrett was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and former member of Scott City Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, W.C. Garrett Jr. of Houston, Texas; a sister, Reba Haas of Mound City, and two grandchildren.
