SHIRLEY M. BOYER

SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Shirley M. Boyer of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. The Rev. Richard Farquhar will officiate, with burial in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to service time.

Boyer, 54, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 1994, at Mineral Area Regional Hospital in Farmington, following a brief illness.

She was born Dec. 15, 1939, in Portageville, daughter of J.T. "William" and Lena Moreland Walker. She and Larry Boyer were married Jan. 17, 1959.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Edward Boyer of Sikeston, Charles Tanner of Fredericktown; her father of Palm Springs, Calif.; two brothers, Bill "Bud" Walker of Park Hills, Leroy Walker of Shreveport, La.; two sisters, Kathy MacCain and Murl Williams of Commerce, and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by a sister.
