MURPHYSBORO, Ill. -- A joint funeral for Shirley Mae Webb Lewis, 37, and her son, Charles Cornelius Earl Lewis, 5 1/2 months, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Algee Memorial Chapel in Cairo, Ill.
They died in a fire June 8, 2001, at their residence.
The Rev. Jefferson Williams will officiate. Burial will be at the Mound City National Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
She is survived by her mother, Harry Mae Nailing of Cape Girardeau; a son, Tyrone Webb of Carbondale, Ill.; six brothers, Leon Summers of Toledo, Ohio, Leroy Summers of New York, N.Y., Charles Webb of Carbondale, Eddie Webb of Marion, Ill., and Jerome Webb and Jerry Lee Summers, both of Murphysboro; three sisters, Delores Summers of Toledo, Sharlene Webb of Cape Girardeau and Gloria Luster of Murphysboro.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Webb Sr.
Charles Lewis is survived by his father, Robert Little of Murphysboro; maternal grandmother, Harry Mae Nailing of Cape Girardeau; and a brother, Tyrone Webb of Carbondale.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather.
