SHIRLEY J. SLINKARD

CAHOKIA, Ill. -- Shirley J. Slinkard, 52, of Cahokia, Ill., died Friday, March 13, 1992 at her residence.

She was born July 25, 1939, daughter of Cecil and Lydia Fox. She married Truman Dale Slinkard, who survives Cahokia.

She was a member of the North Dupo Bible Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Michael Slinkard, Cahokia; three daughters, Robin Brown, Kimberly Slinkard and Vicki Slinkard, all of Cahokia; three sisters, Alice Hahs and Agnes Sides, both of Jackson, Dorothy Seabaugh, Friedheim; a half-brother, David G. Fox, Chanute AFB, Ill.; her stepmother, Thelma Woods, Maplewood; three step-brothers, Gerald Lincoln, Louisiana, Jerry Lincoln, Iowa, Lloyd Woods, Maplewood; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call today from 3:30-9 p.m. at Braun-Colonial Funeral Home in Cahokia.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Keith R. Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis
