HARVIELL, Mo. -- Shirley L. Langley Hindman, 89, of Harviell passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021, at Clark's Mountain Nursing Center in Piedmont, Missouri.
Shirley was born Sept. 1, 1931, to Elbert and Edna Cox Langley in St. Louis. She married Leo Hindman on Oct. 16, 1955, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Shirley was a Christian woman. She enjoyed cooking, politics, and growing beautiful orchids.
Shirley is survived by her two sons, David (Melissa) Hindman of Harviell and Dick Hindman of Jacksonville, Florida; and grandson, Christopher Hindman of Cape Girardeau.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers, Dale, Orville and Lloyd Langley.
A public visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to noon Friday at Cotrell Chapel in Poplar Bluff, with funeral service to follow at noon, officiated by Pastor Bill Turner. Graveside committal service will take place at Kinsey Cemetery following the funeral service.
